If you have a disability or medical condition, you can request an adapted room or adjustments as part of your accommodation application.
The Accommodation Office works closely with the University's Disability Advisory Service to provide accessible accommodation.
Some examples of adjustments and additional equipment that we can provide include:
- rooms with more space for wheelchairs and medical equipment
- en-suite wet rooms
- pull cord alarms
- lower cooker hobs and sinks in kitchens
- deaf alerters
- automatic bathroom doors
- beds with adjustable height.
