Our Meal Plans are available to all students at Reading living in University or private accommodation, including in self-catered halls. Choose from three, seven, 14 or unlimited meals a week depending on your living arrangements and your lifestyle.
If you're a first-year student, the University recommends you to choose a Meal Plan to support your transition to life at university and help you reach your full academic potential.
When you apply for accommodation, you will be asked to select and add a Meal Plan to your room as part of the application process. You can purchase Meal Plans outside of the Accommodation Application process from early August onwards, but will need to pay in advance with a credit or debit card.
Your Meal Plan is automatically applied to your Campus Card once you have enrolled and you’ll be able to check your balance at gold.reading.ac.uk at any time. The way your Meal Plan works will vary according to which plan you are on and more information can be found on the Clever Cuisine pages.
