If you are joining the Study Abroad programme at Reading, you can apply for a place in University accommodation.
There are a limited number of rooms that are available to move into ahead of the PGCE course start date in early September, so it’s highly likely you will be offered a 40-week very early start contract.
The UPP Accommodation Office will contact you to organise extending your accommodation contract until the end of your course, so you won’t have to find alternative accommodation.
Please contact the Accommodation Office on +44 (0)118 200 5011 or accommodationonline@reading.ac.uk to discuss any special accommodation requirements you may have.
If you are planning a gap year, or will be travelling with limited access to the internet during the accommodation application period, we recommend you email the Accommodation Team (accommodationonline@reading.ac.uk) before you leave.
The email should include permission for the Accommodation Team to discuss your application with funders and include your eight-digit student number. Due to data protection regulations (GDPR), we cannot discuss your application with anyone else without these.
If you have a question and have already applied for a place at Reading, you can log into our application portal and contact us via our live chat.
