UK and international foundation programmes

Our home foundation programmes are aimed at UK students who may not have achieved the A level (or equivalent) grades required for direct entry onto an undergraduate degree.

These programmes provide a supportive route into higher education, helping you build subject knowledge, academic skills and confidence so you are fully prepared to progress to degree-level study.

Our International Foundation Pathways are tailored for students who are based outside the UK and hold international qualifications (such as IGCSEs, AS levels, or the International Baccalaurate).

These programmes are designed to support your transition into the UK higher education system. They will strengthen your academic and English language skills, while also helping you adapt to studying and living in the UK, ready to progress to an undergraduate degree.
