Once you’ve referred yourself (accepted your offer), we will process your referral, which can take a few days. Once that’s complete and you hold an unconditional firm offer with us, you can move onto the next steps to help you transition to university.
Apply for accommodation
You’ll receive an email inviting you to apply for accommodation if you need it. Find out more about accommodation for Clearing applicants.
Confirm your student finance arrangements
If you’re a UK student, you’ll need to apply for or change your student finance information. If you have already applied for student finance and then change your course/university through Clearing, you’ll need to inform the relevant student finance authority as soon as possible.
To inform Student Finance England (SFE), log in to your SFE account and select Your account, Change your application, University/college and course. There’s a different process if you are a student from Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland, so please check with your relevant student finance authority.
If you get a place through Clearing and haven’t yet applied for a student loan, you can apply for a loan via the SFE online service, or the equivalent in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.
Contact our Disability Advisory Service if you need to
If you are disabled and think you’ll need support with your studies, you can register with our Disability Advisory Service (DAS) as soon as you have accepted an offer to study with us. We encourage you to do this well in advance of the start of your course to discuss any adjustments and support you may require.
To register, you will need to fill out the DAS registration form found on our applicant portal. Once you’ve registered, DAS will email you.
