Sally Plank
Sally graduated from Southampton University in 1978 with a degree in French Language & Literature. On graduating she went on to work for 40 years within the business side of commercial media – notably in commercial radio. She led radio stations in London and the South including South Wales and then took up the position as Strategy & Development director of the then largest radio group Capital Radio plc. Sally was responsible for corporate strategy specifically planning the transition into digital radio, the company’s mergers and acquisition programme and international development opportunities.
Sally served as lay member on Southampton University council and for Farnborough College of Technology where she was chair of its curriculum and standards committee. She is now involved in working with the charity sector.
