Chris Shaw
Chris qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young LLP in Reading specialising in Corporate Tax. He has worked as Finance Director and Company Secretary for a global division of a group listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The division is a world leader in Electronics Manufacturing with manufacturing sites in the UK, Singapore and Malaysia. Prior roles within the group included Global Compliance and Internal Audit when US listed and he has worked throughout Asia and Europe.
Chris has recently been appointed as Group Financial Controller for a FTSE 250 listed manufacturing group based in the South West of England.
Chris spent six years as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Bournemouth University serving on the Board and the Audit and Risk Committee. He also sits on the Board and Finance Committee of a Multi-Academy Trust in Dorset.
