#PlanetPartners: working with global partners to protect the environment

  • PhD student, Elliott Sainsbury (Meteorology) is quoted by The Times (and in print), Germanic, and Geek Week on the predicted increase in hurricanes in Europe as an effect of climate change. Read our story here.
  • Forbes reports that the University was among the first customers of Klimato, a technology company working to reduce emissions in the food industry. 
  • Research Scientist, Oscar Martínez-Alvarado (Meteorology) was interviewed by Radio France Internationale about the University's research on the impact of weather systems on sea ice melt, conducted by flying research aircrafts into Arctic storms.
