University of Reading appearing in news media including TV and radio

Her Majesty The Queen: 

Following the death of Her Majesty The Queen, the Vice-Chancellor has offered the condolences of the University of Reading community. See the full message here.

The Queen’s eldest son, Prince Charles, becomes King Charles III.

  • ITV 1 News (and online), BBC Radio Berkshire, The Reading Chronicle, Wokingham Today, and Bangkok Post mention the times that the Queen visited the University during her reign. 
  • Professor Kate Williams (History) was interviewed by BBC Radio Scotland and quoted by BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio Berkshire on the Queen's dedication to serving her country, and online by SK Pop, Cheat Sheet, News Break, Jawa Pos, The Hollywood Gossip, RCTI Plus, and Lew Lew Media on when to expect a coronation ceremony to crown Prince Charles following the death of the Queen.
  • Professor Parveen Yaqoob (Deputy Vice-Chancellor) was interviewed by BBC Radio Berkshire on the University's opening of a book of condolences following the passing of the Queen. 
  • The University's Muslim Chaplain, Javed Kacchalia was interviewed by BBC Radio Berkshire on the time of reflection that he has planned for students mourning the Queen's passing.
