University of Reading appearing in news media including TV and radio

#PlanetPartners: working with global partners to protect the environment 

  • Dr Laura Wilcox's (Meteorology) interview last week with BBC World Service Radio on the impact of aerosols on climate change aired over stations including BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio Cymru and her article on this research is published by Nature (in print). Read our news story here.
  • Dr Rob Thompson's (Meteorology) article on The Conversation on UK rain was republished by Inverse and Reader's Digest.
  • Professor Paul Williams (Meteorology) is quoted by Detik Travel on why warm weather affects how a plane takes off.
  • Professor Richard Allan (Meteorology) is listed by Business Innovation Magazine as an upcoming speaker during Reading's Climate Fayre.
  • Bio-Engineer, Mirage News, and Eurek Alert report on a survey conducted by a researcher previously at the University in the sixties on the biodiversity of the River Thames. Read our news story here.
