REF 2021 results: Reading is ranked at 40 out of 129 universities in the UK by Times Higher Education (measuring research quality) and at 34 out of 157 institutions by Research Fortnight (measuring research power), using data from the REF 2021 results published on Thursday. Institutional results were analysed by WonkHE, and India Education Diary reports on Reading increasing its proportion of research considered of the highest quality.
