Rainfall Rescue: Professor Ed Hawkins (Meteorology) was interviewed by BBC Breakfast on BBC One / BBC News Channel and the Today programme on BBC Radio 4 on data from his Rainfall Rescue project data being published, which saw thousands of volunteers transcribe millions of rainfall observations and extend the national rainfall record back to 1836. The Telegraph (and on its front page in print) – who are also using the climate stripes as a visual on the environment section of their mobile website (see attached)-, Guardian, Independent, Daily Mail, BBC, Evening Standard, Yahoo!, Aol, Express & Star, TVN, The Argus, Berkshire Live, Wales Online, Eurek Alert, Today UK News, Mogaz News and Oxford Mail and BBC Radio Scotland and around 150 other regional titles all reported on the project's success. The Conversation also publishes an article by Professor Hawkins on the project.
