COVID-19: expert comment on the pandemic

  • Dr Simon Clarke (Biological Sciences) is quoted by the The Huffington Post, Daily Mirror (and in print), Express (and in print), Yahoo!, Today UK News and News Chant and others on the increasing number of UK cases and hospital admissions, possibly as a result of relaxing Covid restrictions, and by the Daily Mail, The News Amed, The Florida Post and others on an article from the Wuhan Institute of Virology that claimed pandemics can occur as a result of deadly viruses escaping.
  • Dr David Rose (Agriculture) is quoted by North Devon Gazette on his research on the impact of Covid on farmers' mental health.
