#PlanetPartners: working with global partners to protect the environment 

  • Professor Nigel Arnell (Meteorology) was interviewed by Sky News on the impact of climate change on extreme weather such as heatwaves.
  • Dr Helen Griffith (Geography and Environmental Science) is quoted by iNews (in print) on the possibility of another heatwave in the UK. 
  • PhD researcher Theodore Keeping (Geography and Environmental Science) is quoted by The Telegraph (and in print) on the UK's lack of preparedness for wildfires.
  • Dr Rob Thompson (Meteorology) was interviewed by Sky News on comments by the Environmental Agency that England could face the risk of droughts.
