COVID-19: expert comment on the pandemic

  • Dr Simon Clarke (Biological Sciences) is quoted by the Daily Mail on the impact of restrictions; and the Daily Mail on the detection of Omicron in sewage samples. He spoke to LBC News about BA.2, a new strain of Covid, and to Talk Radio about Paxlovid, a new anti-viral Covid pill. 
  • Dr Alexander Edwards (Pharmacy) is quoted by The Guardian (and in print), Yahoo!, and others on smartphone-based Covid test kits.
