COVID-19: expert comment on the pandemic

  • Dr Al Edwards (Pharmacy) is quoted by The Week and News Cabal on the accuracy of lateral flow tests.
  • Dr Simon Clarke (Biological Sciences) spoke to BBC Hereford and Worcester about the decision to keep unvaccinated NHS staff in hospitals. 

 

#PlanetPartners: working with global partners to protect the environment 

  • Professor Martin Lukac (Agriculture) is quoted by The Guardian (and in print), Yahoo!, and others on the importance of preserving tropical forests in South America in light of a report that found an estimated 9,000 species of tree are yet to be discovered.
