University of Reading appearing in news media including TV and radio

#PlanetPartners: working with global partners to protect the environment 

  • Professor Hannah Cloke (Geography/Meteorology) is quoted by Wired, Metro, News Dubai, Nation Africa, and News Now on how the drought affects how soil absorbs water, by the Independent (and in print), Yahoo!, News Break, MSN, and others on criticism of UK water companies to improve their infrastructure, and News Track Live on the risk of drought China could face next summer.
  • Continued coverage of Dr Rob Thompson's (Meteorology) online video showing how droughts impact how the ground absorbs water by Wired, News Now, Wire News Fax, Sciences Et Avenir, Kids Week, Time News, and MSN, and his interview with BBC World Service Radio on what causes weather is broadcast by Connecticut Public Radio.
