• Professor Hannah Cloke (Geography/Meteorology) was in the BBC One Newsnight (approx. 6 mins) studio on Friday night to discuss the dry conditions in the UK. She also spoke to BBC Radio Four, and BBC Radio Wales used clips from the interview.
• Dr Rob Thompson (Meteorology) was interviewed by the BBC, Evening Standard (approx. 1 min), France 24, and BBC Radio Berkshire, Yahoo!, Wokingham Today, Bloomberg Linea and Banoyi on how dry conditions can produce more intense heat waves, droughts.
