We are delighted to invite our alumni in India to join us for a celebration of the University of Reading's centenary, which is taking place at the British Council on Saturday 31 January 2026.

Hosted by Professor Parveen Yaqoob OBE, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research and Innovation,  the evening will include two key segments:

·       Alumni Recognition Ceremony | 5:00 pm - 6:15 pm

A recognition ceremony honouring all attending alumni, recognising their vital role in connecting Reading with India. We strongly encourage your attendance so we can personally thank you.

·       Centenary Celebration and Reception | 6:30 pm onwards

A celebratory gathering bringing together the University's leadership team from the UK, South Africa, and Malaysia, with distinguished guests from the Indian higher education sector, government bodies, and corporates. Connect with fellow alumni, reflect on Reading's transformative impact, and contribute to shaping our vision for the next century.
