Reduced car parking during halls intake

Some of our car parks will have reduced capacity this weekend, as we welcome our new cohort of students onto campus for the new academic year.

With around 2,000 students moving into halls of residence, one-way systems will be in place in some car parks from Friday morning and over the weekend, which will limit access for staff.

One-way systems will be in place at Park Group, Northcourt Group, St George’s Hall, Bridges and Wessex Halls from 08:30-17:30 each day.

The following car parks will be affected:

• Car Park 1a
• Car Park 2
• SportsPark overflow car park (between Car Park 1 and 1a)
• Earley Gate car parks

All halls car parks will be closed to staff from Wednesday 18 September until Sunday 22 September, as they will be exclusively used for student drop-offs.
