Centenary Project Grant Scheme open for bids
01 November 2024
Bids for funding to support projects marking our Centenary are now invited from colleagues.
Our Centenary Project Grant Scheme was announced in March as part of a programme of activity celebrating and developing the University’s legacy in the lead up to our centenary on 17 March 2026.
The Scheme opened today (Monday 30 September), with a £250,000 fund available thanks to a legacy donation to the University.
Project bids are welcomed from colleagues at all of our UK and international campuses.
A selection panel will review the bids in late November 2024, and aim to make many small funding awards to support a diverse range of activities in our centenary year and beyond.
This means there is no minimum amount you can bid for, with larger grants available for exceptional ideas and lasting legacies.
The application form can be found on the Centenary Project Grant Scheme webpage.
Please read the full application guidance before submitting a bid, which requires the approval of your Head of School or Directorate.
The deadline for applications is 23:59 on Friday 8 November 2024.
