Get ready for the Green Festival

It’s not long until Green Festival 2024 when the University celebrates all things sustainability.
This year’s Green Festival takes place 19-21 November and we have a bumper schedule, which really does include something for everyone.
All events are free and hosted across Whiteknights and London Road.
Highlights include:
Tuesday 19 November
- Immerse yourself in nature with a meditative nature walk.
- Do your bit for the local environment at a litter pick.
- Learn more about carbon literacy.
- Take time for yourself at a yoga session
Wednesday 20 November
- Browse the range of pre-loved bicycles for sale.
- Learn how much carbon is captured by trees .
- Celebrate our planet and sustainability through song in our Universal Voices rehearsal.
- A screening of Six Inches of Soil, a documentary about three British farmers working to regenerate the soil, followed by a Q&A
Thursday 21 November
- Browse a range of pre-loved, second hand clothes.
- Explore a variety of Fairtrade items for sale.
- Learn more about the COP Climate conferences from students who have taken part in COP29.
- Learn new sewing skills to help you mend your clothes for free.
