USS Pensions – Information session with Reading UCU

The Reading University and College Union (UCU) branch has arranged an information seminar on the USS pension scheme for University of Reading staff, in collaboration with the UCU National Pensions Official.

Dooley Harte, UCU National Pensions Official, will visit the University to give an in-person seminar on Thursday 21 March 13:00 – 14:00, in Harry Nursten 234, Whiteknights Campus. 

This session is free and open to all staff - both UCU members and non-members - and is relevant to everyone who is currently a member or is eligible to join the USS pension scheme.

Dooley will update colleagues on the recent changes to the USS Scheme and ongoing USS negotiations. Colleagues will also be able to ask questions. 

Individual consultation slots with Dooley Harte will also be made available on the day. However, there are a limited number of individual consultation slots and if these are oversubscribed, those with complex queries or those close to retirement will be prioritised.
