The current six-year term of Professor Parveen Yaqoob comes to an end in July 2024
About the role
The successful candidate will become a member of the University Executive Board and be responsible for the University's research strategy, with the aim of positioning Reading among the leading research universities in the UK and internationally.
The University is committed to having a diverse and inclusive workforce, and so applications are especially welcomed from women, and black and ethnic minorities.
Applications are also welcomed to apply on a part-time or flexible working basis, or to carry out this role as a job share. For example, this could be an application to carry out 50% of the role, either in coordination with another applicant who is interested in sharing the role, or with no indication of who the other 50% might be.
