T&L Conference gets AI and inclusive teaching focus
26 June 2024
This year’s summer Teaching and Learning (T&L) Conference will explore inclusive teaching and assessment in the age of generative artificial intelligence (AI).
The annual event, run by CQSD, takes place in person on 11 July 2024 on Whiteknights campus.
Dr Martin Compton, Lead for AI and Innovation in Education at Kings College, London, will present the morning keynote. He will speak about leveraging generative AI tools, such as ChatGPT, for a transformed teaching and assessment future.
Other sessions during the day will allow colleagues and students to share ideas and hear about work going on within the University on the themes of inclusive teaching and assessment and generative AI.
The event will finish with a drinks reception to celebrate colleagues who have recently achieved AdvanceHE fellowship through the FLAIR (Facilitating Learning, teaching And Individual Recognition) scheme - either the Academic Practice Programme or the Continuing Professional Development pathway.
