Staff appreciation day 2024 roundup

The sun was shining as staff gathered for our annual Staff Appreciation day at our Whiteknights Campus on Friday 21 June 2024.

The day was a chance to say thank you to our hard working colleagues for their efforts this year.

Once again, it took place on Show Your Stripes Day, during which the climate stripes were displayed on landmarks all around the world to start climate conversations and inspire climate action.

On campus, colleagues enjoyed fairground games, and learned more about greener living with the Sustainability team and the Climate Ambassadors scheme. Half price lunches showcased the food on offer at Venue Reading’s new street food stalls, followed up by a free ice cream thanks to the Staff Forum.

Congratulations to the Corp Comets, who won the University rounders tournament.
