Paris Olympics 2024: free sessions at SportsPark

Colleagues can try out a selection of Olympic sports for free on campus to celebrate the start of the Paris 2024 Games and Paralympics.
The SportsPark is running Train and Play Like an Olympian sessions on Whiteknights campus between 31 July and 2 August 2024 – the first full week of the Olympics.
They will allow colleagues to sample some sports that are Olympic events, and one fast-growing game that isn’t, yet – Pickleball.
The session have limited space and some must be booked in advance on a first come first served basis. They are open to staff of all abilities and disabilities, with all facilities fully accessible.
The three-day offer supports the SportsPark’s mission to make active wellbeing part of everyday life at the University, and help more staff to benefit from getting active through more inclusive activities.
Colleagues can take out SportsPark memberships at staff rates, or take advantage of the summer discounted membership of £25 per month until the end of August.
