Graduation parking arrangements for staff

Graduation runs from 16-24 July 2024, so please be aware that parking will be extremely limited between these dates.

Colleagues who are not working or volunteering at Graduation are asked to work from home if they are able to, in consultation with their line manager, on Tuesday 16 - Friday 19 July  and Tuesday 23 - Wednesday 24  July.

The following car parks on Whiteknights campus will be reserved for Graduation:

• Whiteknights Car Park 1A and Car Park 2 – Graduation guest parking only (16-24 July).
• Whiteknights Car Park 4 – Graduation guest accessible parking only (16-24 July).
• Whiteknights ICMA Car Park (the small car park opposite Car Park 2) – Graduation guest accessible parking only (23-24 July).
• London Road White Gates Car Park – Graduation Guest Accessible parking only (16-24  July).

Please note there will be a small number of spaces reserved across campus for guests with mobility issues.

These will be easily identifiable with named traffic cones. Please do not remove any of those cones on those days, to avoid any distress for our visitors.

Volunteer parking

Volunteers should park in one of the non-reserved car parks at Whiteknights campus and make their way to London Road if their role is based there.

A free shuttle bus will be running between Whiteknights and London Road campuses, and volunteers are welcome to use this.

Any staff marshals working at London Road who have already agreed parking arrangements there with Graduation organisers can continue with these arrangements.
