Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellor roles open for applications
24 July 2024
Colleagues are invited to apply for one of four new and existing Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellor (APVC) roles supporting the delivery of the sustainability and growth plans at the heart of the University strategy.
With APVC recently replacing our Dean title, the roles will assist Pro-Vice-Chancellors not currently supported by these roles with delivering important strategic projects. The advertised roles are all part-time, with the three new posts adding up to a total of 0.8 FTE.
The roles are being advertised internally only, and are ideal development opportunities for colleagues who want experience in academic leadership as part of the University’s senior leadership team.

Information sessions for each of these APVC roles will be presented by the Vice-Chancellor and relevant Pro-Vice-Chancellors in August.
These will provide some more detail and context around the roles and give interested colleagues the chance to ask questions. More information on registering for the sessions is in the online job adverts.
Interviews will take place in September for all roles with a view to appointments being made by 1 October 2024.
