Dean of Internationalisation/ISLI role advertised externally
09 January 2024
The new role of Dean of Internationalisation and Head of International Study and Language Institute (ISLI) has been opened to external candidates.
The post was advertised internally in November to succeed Professor David Carter, who has now completed his six-year term. However, an appointment was not made.
Once appointed, the successful candidate will help deliver the University’s internationalisation objectives, engage with external organisations and our overseas campuses, provide academic leadership for ISLI, and ensure the Institute plays a key role in growing international student numbers.
Dr Caroline Baylon, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (International), will oversee the role on an interim basis until an appointment is made.
The job advert went live on Monday 8 January, with an application deadline of 4 February 2024.
