Developing our centenary legacy
08 August 2024
Your ideas to commemorate our centenary and develop our legacy for the next century could become a reality, thanks to University funding.
The Centenary Project Grant Scheme will fund grassroots projects from our University community, celebrating 100 years since we received our Royal Charter on 17 March 1926.
Staff, students and University alumni can apply for funding from the University’s Centenary Project Grant Scheme from Monday 30 September, with applications open for a period of five weeks.
Projects should aim to showcase our past, current or future impact and thereby increase the profile of our research, education or reputation locally, nationally or internationally.
Ideally, each project or activity will create a tangible or intangible legacy, which will benefit our community.
This will be the only opportunity to bid for this funding, so now is a good time to read the guidance notes and start putting together your project bid. Please note that all staff bids will require approval from their Head of School or Directorate.
We’ll email you with a reminder when the fund opens.
