Sustainability survey: what needs to change?
14 September 2023
Are you proud to contribute to the University’s net zero ambitions? Are there barriers stopping you from being green at work?
Sustainability Services is running an all staff survey on sustainability at the University as part of its Our Future First sustainable behaviours programme.
Participants will have the option of entering a raffle prize draw for the chance to win one of two £40 Dining Out Gift Cards.
The purpose of the survey is to help Sustainability Services understand more about current levels of staff awareness and perceptions of sustainability.
It will also provide colleagues with the opportunity to make suggestions, report issues relating to sustainability and current barriers preventing action, and request support on making sustainable choices.
The information gathered in the survey will be invaluable in helping identify areas for improvement and where attention needs to be focused.
Take the survey.
The closing date for the survey and associated raffle prize draw will be 17:00 on Friday 6 October.
The survey is anonymous unless you enter the prize draw or provide your details to volunteer as a Sustainability Champion.
Thank you to all of those who take part!
Our Future First
The Our Future First campaign is aimed at encouraging and supporting colleagues to make a change, no matter how small, to be more environmentally friendly.
Our collective action will help us achieve our sustainability ambitions, including becoming carbon net zero by 2030.
Look out for interviews and stories on the Staff Portal over the coming months, highlighting colleagues who have made a change or led a green initiative.
Sustainability Services are always keen to hear from colleagues and answer sustainability questions. If you would like to discuss any areas in more detail please get in touch at sustainability@reading.ac.uk and someone will be in touch.
