Discounted meal deal for staff continues

The staff discount on meals on campus is continuing this academic year, allowing colleagues to get a meal and hot drink for less when you show your campus card.

Colleagues can get selected meals and hot drink for £5.50 – less than half the normal price of £11.83 – at Eat at the Square (Mon – Fri) and Park Eat (Mon-Sun) on Whiteknights campus.

Just tap your purple-topped campus card (not Associate Guest card or Library card) to activate the discount, before paying for your meal with a debit or credit card.

At The Dairy on London Road campus, colleagues can take advantage of a budget meal deal available to all customers, consisting of a filled ciabatta for between £3.95-4.75 and a hot drink for £1.69. This deal differs due to The Dairy stocking different food options to our other venues.

The discounted meal initiative for staff was launched in October 2022 for 12 months, as one of a number of measures to help staff combat the ongoing cost of living crisis. The discounted deals continue this support, with the new prices incorporating 2023/24 inflationary rises across all catering menus.

Cost of living support is also in place for students, with hundreds of supermarket vouchers handed out to students in 2022/23 and a food bank made available on campus.
