Winter Festival - everyone welcome to festive celebration

Colleagues and their families and friends are invited to attend this years’ annual Winter Festival.

Everyone is welcome to the free celebration in the Palmer quad and Students' Union on Whiteknights campus, which runs from 17:30 until late on Friday 1 December.

The event will feature a lights switch-on, carol singing, food stalls, concert band and jazz band performances, a festive market in 3sixty selling gifts, and free activities run by student societies.

Hot chocolate, mulled wine and other refreshments will be available from Dol.cHe Vita and Knights Café in the Students’ Union, while Mojos and the Reading Students’ Union bars will be open for food and drink.

As well as an opportunity to relax with colleagues or invite family and the community onto campus, the Festival is an opportunity to hold a free and informal festive gathering.
