Share your idea with the VC

Further opportunities to take your suggestions to the Vice-Chancellor at a surgery session have been confirmed for the summer term.

If you have an idea that you would like to put forward to Professor Robert Van de Noort to be considered for funding, you can book to meet with him to discuss it during one of the following sessions:

• Monday 24 April, 10:00-12:00
• Thursday 11 May, 10:00-12:00
• Wednesday 7 June, 14:00-16:00

In these surgery sessions, Robert invites colleagues to share practical ideas on how life at the University could be improved. Ideally, suggestions should be linked to one of the four strategic principles of our new University Strategy - Community, Excellence, Sustainability and an Engaged University.    

Each meeting will last 15 minutes. They should ideally be on a one-to-one basis but small groups are also welcome to meet with Robert.

Meetings will be preferably in person in the Library café on Whiteknights campus, but can be via Microsoft Teams on request.

Places must be booked in advance using the online booking form.

Topics discussed in previous Surgery sessions include:

• Inviting prospective students to spend a weekend on campus.
• Colleague recognition and business improvement schemes.
• Supporting colleagues on maternity leave, and their line managers
