Reading Half Marathon returns to Whiteknights

The Reading Half Marathon returns on Sunday 2 April 2023, and once again visits our Whiteknights campus.

Road and car park closures will be in place at the University. Car park 1A will be unavailable on 2 April until the afternoon.

There will also be road closures on campus on 2 April from 09:30-12:30 from the Pepper Lane entrance, along Queen’s Drive until the Shinfield Road entrance to campus. This will affect access to car parks along the way.

The event – which starts at Green Park and finishes at Reading FC - is popular with professional, club and amateur runners alike. Over 10,000 people entered in 2022, with hundreds of volunteers helping the event run smoothly.
