Free period products available at Greenlands
07 July 2023
Free period products are now available at Henley Business School’s Greenlands campus, thanks to funding from the Diversity & Inclusion team.
The installation means that all three of our UK campuses have free period products available to University staff. The products have been funded by the Diversity & Inclusion Initiative, overseen by Dr Allán Laville, Dean for Diversity & Inclusion, and will remain in place for the remainder of his term as Dean, which runs to January 2026.
The move is intended to help address period poverty, which the charity ActionAid reported affects 12% of British women. The idea was submitted by a student in 2022 and has now been made a reality at all our UK campuses.
Tampons and sanitary towels are available for free in the following locations (Greenlands campus map):

- Main House - women's toilets at top of main staircase next to Reception.
- Anniversary building - women's toilets to east of Main Quad.
- Hospitality Services area - women's toilets used by Hospitality colleagues, next to Magnolia Quad.
