How are you celebrating Lunar New Year 2023?
16 January 2023
Share the sights, sounds and tastes of how you and your loved ones celebrate Lunar New Year by contributing to the Diverse Reading blog.
Lunar New Year 2023, the Year of the Rabbit, will start on Sunday 22 January. Students and colleagues at the University will be among the 2 billion people around the world celebrating.
The Diversity & Inclusion team would like to hear from colleagues about how they celebrate to create a collaborative post for the Diverse Reading blog.
How to contribute
To take part, all you need to do is put together around 150 words (and photos, if possible) on what celebrating Lunar New Year means to you and your most memorable Lunar New Year.
Your reflections will help other colleagues understand how important the festival is to many colleagues and students at Reading and allow them to celebrate with you, albeit virtually.
To give you some ideas, see last year's celebration blog post.
Please send your contributions to Ceara Webster, Diversity and Inclusion Adviser, at ceara.webster@reading.ac.uk by 12:00 on Friday 20 January.
