Donate coats and warm clothing this winter

Make some space in your wardrobe, save clothing from landfill, and help someone in our community by donating coats and warm clothing this winter.

The University and RUSU are supporting the Winter Warmer Giveaway initiative, hosted by Reading Borough Council and the Community Rail Partnership.

Bring good quality coats, gloves, scarves and hats to the RUSU Welcome Desk between 09:00-17:00 on Wednesday 8 and Thursday 9 February. All sizes and ages are needed.

Donations can also be dropped off at Reading Station, between 08:00-14:00 on 8 and 9 February.

Anyone is welcome to take what they need from Reading Station between 10:00-17:00 on Friday 10 and Saturday 11 February. Volunteers will also be on hand with advice on staying warm in the cold weather.
