National Apprenticeship Week: events for staff
03 February 2023
People Development are running a number of events for staff next week to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week 2023 (6-12 February).
The University offers exciting opportunities for staff to develop their careers and gain a nationally recognised, vocational qualification by undertaking an apprenticeship.
Staff of all ages, in many different roles, can benefit from tailored learning to develop their professional skills, whilst helping to meet the current and future needs of the University.
Apprenticeships can support the development of new skills for both new and existing staff and help with staff succession planning, with training paid for by the University’s apprenticeship levy.
What's on offer
During the week, you will have opportunities to learn how apprenticeships can benefit staff and how to apply, how managers can use apprenticeships to develop existing and new staff, learn about the Associate Project Manager apprenticeship, and ask all your apprenticeship-related questions.
