Have your say about local NHS services
20 December 2023
The Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West Integrated Care Board (BOB ICB) is working with health and care partners to develop a strategy and implementation plan for the future of primary care in our local area. This includes general practice, community pharmacy, optometry (eye care) and dentistry across BOB.
As part of this programme of work, the BOB ICB has launched the ‘Primary Care Conversation’ to let the public share their experiences about these services in an online survey at: https://yourvoicebob-icb.uk.engagementhq.com/hub-page/primary-care
We are sharing this survey with colleagues as an opportunity to help inform and shape the local primary care strategy to deliver better care for the community.
The BOB ICB wants to transform the way these services are delivered in local communities and neighbourhoods, enabling the integration of primary care and community services with the aim of improving access to services, people’s experiences of using them and better outcomes for patients.
The work aims to:
- Build a shared understanding of the current state of services and make the case for change
- Build consensus on the future vision for integrated care
- Design new delivery models supported by digital tools
- Test models through projects
- Capture learnings for phased implementation
Printed copies are available for those without online access. To request one, contact 0300 123 4465 or email engagement.BOBICS@nhs.net.
The survey closes at the end of January 2024.
