Share your views about the University’s financial future
18 April 2023
The University’s finances will be on the agenda at the next Staff Forum discussion session, which takes place online at 13:00 on Wednesday 26 April.
The Staff Forum hosts online discussion sessions, open to all colleagues. April’s session will be dedicated to the approach approved by the University Council in March in response to global financial pressures, and the update from the Vice-Chancellor on the University’s financial position.
Whether you have ideas for improvement or an opinion you want to share with your peers, organisers are keen to hear from as many colleagues working in a range of departments and functions to ensure that a wide range of voices are heard.
Feedback during the conversation will be shared – anonymously - with the University Executive Board (UEB). The Council has asked UEB to develop a detailed plan for its meeting in July, so this is an opportunity to put forward your perspective on the future direction of the University, and to shape the approach to managing financial pressures.
You can sign up for this Teams session using this online form.
The Staff Forum is active in a range of areas to help colleagues at the University – from its network of staff reps to help resolve individual issues, to organising events to help colleagues understand the issues that affect them and have their say, and more
