Apprenticeships for staff - learn more at talk
14 October 2022
Colleagues can learn about the range of apprenticeship opportunities offered by the University at an online session this month.
Apprenticeships allow colleagues of all ages and positions to develop new skills to support their role and offer solutions to University needs. The courses offer tailored learning and result in a nationally recognised vocational qualification.
An Introduction to Apprenticeships in-person talk is scheduled on Whiteknights campus for Monday 31 October from 14:00-15:00. Colleagues should register for the talk on UoRLearn.
Colleagues undertaking apprenticeships spend 20% of their working hours (one day per week for full-time roles) learning either on or off campus. This might include attending training, personal study time or completing assignments.
The cost of the apprenticeship is met by the University’s central Apprenticeship Levy fund.
