Implementing T&L changes: breakfast drop-in
11 May 2022
All colleagues are warmly invited to attend the next informal session for an update on the Portfolio Review Pathway on Thursday 19 May at 09:00.
The Portfolio Review Pathway, our programme to review critical aspects of our teaching and learning environment, is now in its implementation phase. Implementation is organised across two Workstreams, one with oversight for programme design and one for operational requirements which support the programme changes.
The Workstreams are overseeing activity which will embed:
- changes to the academic year structure,
- the updated curriculum framework,
- changes to programme and module structures and
- the use of technology to enhance the student experience.
The Enabling Programme Design Workstream has recently begun working with Schools on programme redesign. Whilst the Enabling Operations Workstream has been undertaking impact assessments and consulting on the new academic year models.
The session will be hosted by Professor Elizabeth McCrum (PVC for Education & Student Experience) who will be joined by the Pathway’s Workstream Co-Leads to provide an update on the progress made on the Pathway so far and the plans for the rest of the summer term.
The presentation will be followed by plenty of time for discussion and questions.
