Agriculture building to reopen Monday

The Agriculture building will reopen on Monday 28 March following remedial works related to the water leakage.

Colleagues are advised to use the main entrance when they come in. No sign-in is required for working hours (08.00-18.00), but a sign-in is expected outside these hours.

There will be a restriction in the use of the building to daylight hours. For the first week, this will be from 06.45 to 19.30. This is because the emergency lighting systems are still not working.

The building may feel colder as it has been closed for a couple of weeks. The heating system is operational and will reach an even temperature throughout within the next few days. Colleagues have been advised not to use any external electrical equipment, like fan heaters, inside the building.

The toilets in the building are functional, though they do not have hot water supply. If you are working in or visiting the building, please remember that the lift is only available between 07:00 and 16:00.

The water leakage took place a couple of weeks ago and some of the repair work will continue.
