Park using RingGo on Whiteknights
14 June 2022
University colleagues, students and visitors using car parks 1 and 1a on Whiteknights campus can now pay for parking using RingGo.
Users will now have the option of either purchasing a pay and display ticket from our ticket machines or paying for parking using the RingGo phone app. By offering RingGo, users will now have greater flexibility in paying for parking, which can be incredibly helpful if running late or if plans change or overrun.
The signs in car parks 1 and 1a will be updated to include the RingGo code to be used when paying. Details of users paying with RingGo will be fed to the University’s parking monitoring company, Total Parking Solutions, so that they have a real-time feed of who has paid.
The use of RingGo is currently only available in car parks 1 and 1a, and so all other existing parking arrangements will remain in place.
The income generated from our Pay and Display carparks is used to fund sustainable travel initiatives and to provide maintenance and improvements to parking facilities across our campus sites.
