Celebrating Lunar New Year – share your stories
24 January 2022
Lunar New Year is just round the corner – Tuesday 1 February! Together with the University’s central Diversity and Inclusion team, we would like to celebrate with our staff and students. We would love to fill the day with good fortune for the year of the tiger ahead – and to do so we want to share your stories of celebrating Lunar New Year on the #DiverseReading blog!
Please send a short piece (around 150 words max or photographs with a few lines accompanying them) on the theme: Celebrating Lunar New Year! To nozomi.tolworthy@reading.ac.uk by Wednesday 26 January.
This can be about celebrating pre-pandemic or during and take on any format you wish. Please feel free to also just send photographs with a few lines explaining the moment. The pieces will be pulled together and shared on the #DiverseReading blog and with the University – a celebratory piece similar to our Diwali blog.
