“Starting the year well” wellbeing webinar and other resources available
14 January 2022
Our Employee Assistance Programme providers (Confidential Care) are running a webinar on the 18 January on “Starting the year well”.
For many of us, the new year has brought new goals and resolutions. However, it’s very easy to fall back into old habits.
The webinar will offer helpful tips on making a good start to 2022. To register, visit Confidential Care's website, using the password wellbeing.
The webinar is scheduled for 16:00 on 18 January and will last approximately one hour. As always, the webinar will be recorded and uploaded to Confidential Care's YouTube channel afterwards.
As this can be a busy time of year, it’s really important to look after yourself and take whatever steps you can to get the most from life.
We would like to remind you of some of our wellbeing support services, which are available to all University staff, and can be easily accessed online, by phone or by video call. These include:
- Health and Wellbeing pages – discover a wide range of resources, including material specific to COVID-19 and coping with change.
- Wellbeing Peer Support Network – speak to a member of our peer-to-peer network.
- Employee Assistance Programme – free 24-hour confidential support.
Don’t forget you can also speak to your manager or a trusted colleague – we may not share the same office space at the moment, but we’re still here to help each other through difficult times.
