Watch all-staff talk on strategic project progress

University league tables, sustainable travel options, ongoing partnership and new ways of working were all discussed in December's all-staff talk.

Vice-Chancellor Robert Van de Noort was joined by several members of UEB to provide a review of progress with major projects and other successes and achievements in 2022, and answer questions from colleagues.

Projects covered during the session were:

• Work to improve the University's domestic and global rankings performance, presented by Professor Peter Miskell (Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education & Student Experience).
• Institutional progress on environmental sustainability, including new sustainable travel guidance, presented by Professor Mark Fellowes, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Academic Planning & Resource).
• Successful partnerships, both teaching and research, presented by Professor Dominik Zaum, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research & Innovation).
• Progress with the Portfolio Review Pathway aimed at improving student experience and reducing staff workloads, presented by Professor Elizabeth McCrum, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education & Student Experience).

All members of UEB want to thank colleagues across the University for their hard work this year, and the talk focused on some of the benefits this work has brought, and will bring in the future.
