Support for your wellbeing
11 August 2022
As we start to relax and enjoy the summer break, it might seem strange to suggest that colleagues consider their wellbeing. But it is a great opportunity - before the new academic year begins and students return to campus - to take a moment to check in and see what is available to help you have a healthier and happier experience at work.
Did you know there are a wide range of resources on our Health and Wellbeing pages? Or that you can speak to a member of our network of trained University staff via the Wellbeing Peer Support Network or access the free Employee Assistance Programme for 24-hour confidential support?
Plus, on 31 August, our Employee Assistance Programme providers (Confidential Care) will be running a special webinar on Remote/Hybrid working and Mental Health. Lasting one hour, it will be hosted by Harry Key, a Counsellor Psychotherapist. He will look closely at the ongoing effects of our changing working practices, with a focus on understanding your needs whilst navigating this uncertainty, sharing best practices for ongoing online working, adapting to new/hybrid models and discussing the effects.
